Type of assignment
The assignment consists in providing the following services:
Establishing and monitoring works contracts
- Analysing the project’s requirements
- Feasibility study and preliminary design study for the renovation or conversion of the technical facilities: on-site inspection and surveys, analysis of existing documents (as-built records, consumption records, etc.), analysis of thermal needs and comparison with installed capacity, recommended improvements including a total-cost study of the solutions
- Determining the estimated cost of the work
- Drawing up tendering documents (special technical specifications, breakdown of the all-inclusive price, graphical appendices)
- Examining the tenders and drafting the review report
- Administrative procedures prior to the work (notice of planned works/notice of commencement of works, notifications, etc.)
- Monitoring and overseeing execution and compliance of the work
- Arranging and hosting periodic site meetings and drafting the minutes thereof
- Monitoring the administrative follow-up of the works (joint inspection, subcontracting approvals, etc.)

Focus on certain assignments in 2020
Renovating the Belleville site:
- Renovating the boiler house (3 x 850 kW boilers) and substations, including installing a primary DHW storage system combined with a depletion link to the heating + installing a separating exchanger for a substation powering a 20-floor tower block
- Approving the functional analysis of centralized control with a view to optimizing performance
- Cost of the work: €500,000 excl. VAT
- Length of the work: 5 months
Renovation of the Trolley de Prévaux site:
- Renovation of the boiler house (2 x 285 kW boilers with 3 tapping points) and the substations, including installing a primary DHW storage system
- Replacing individual central heating systems in landing ducts with sets with balancing valves
- Installing physical water treatment for the DHW
- Cost of the work: €285,000 excl. VAT
- Length of the work: 4 months
Renovating the Ribière site:
- Renovating the 950 kW boiler house on the flat roof (19th storey) feeding a substation on the lower ground floor
- Insulating the DHW columns
- Cost of the work: €200,000 excl. VAT
- Length of the work: 10 weeks
