The latter has announced an ambitious target of 35% of renewable energies in its area by 2030.

Services provided

Biomass and residual heat recovery feasibility study in the municipalities of Meylan (38230), Varces Allières and Risset (38760) and Pont-de-Claix (38800).

 

These studies have steered Grenoble Alpes Métropole towards the following viable scenarios:

  • Varces: 11 GWhu potential – density of 5 MWh/ml – a saving of 2,400 TeqCo2/year
  • Meylan: 20 GWhu potential – density of 2.5 MWh/ml – a saving of 3,600 TeqCo2/year
  • Pont-de-Claix: 1.5 GWhu potential – density of 1.5 MWh/ml – a saving of 350 TeqCo2/year

 

The Pont-de-Claix project is under way in the form of a comprehensive performance contract.

The Meylan project is pending consultation in the form of a mixed contract concession.
The Varces project is under development.
